Clear Channel/COOP – Out of Home Video Screens in Switzerland
As a pioneer in out of home advertising in Switzerland, Clear Channel launched in cooperation with Coop Mineralöl AG a digital network of 180 screens at Coop gas stations across the country. Spots with a length of 10 to 15 seconds run on the screens. Therefore, 1,080 new advertising spaces are available throughout Switzerland.
Is there not a better way of announcing this service than a mailing with an actual video screen to advertisers?
The agency zimmermann communications, based in Zollikon, Switzerland, commissioned Audio Logo with the production of a video-in-print card for a mailing campaign to selected advertisers. In A5 landscape format with a 4 inch HD screen, with the screens positioned vertically to resemble the actual screens at the gas stations, the chief sales & marketing officer from Clear Channel Switzerland introduces the new service to potential advertisers.
The video greeting card creates a personal tone to each recipient. Flanking the personal mailing will be a cross media online campaign announcing the nationwide, swiss digital, out-of-home network.
